hello...

source

I will seriously be your best friend if you get me that for Christmas. Just sayin'.

Anywho! How ya doin'? Christmas is in less than two weeks which is just FLIPPING INSANE!!! Fortunately, we were able to move the Christmas tree out of the bathroom thanks to some kick butt apple bitters. Thank you, Jesus! I'm ready for a bit of time off from work and school to spend some quality time with Elna... oh, how I love Elna. :)

While I'm on Christmas break I'm planning on writing up some tutorials to share with y'all! First, I'll be sharing how to make a simple lined library tote for the kiddo in your life.

Don't you just want to eat him up?!
I'll also share tips on making a lined, quilted tote bag using a curtain from IKEA along with a few fat quarters!

I've finished up a few simple patchwork quilts that were not very labor intensive piecing together; I'll share some deets on those too so you can make your own!

Are there any projects you'd like to make- whether it's a pillow or throw you've seen at a retail store or an idea floating around in your head- but it would be helpful to have a tutorial for? If so, let me know in the comments and I'll see if I can break the code and write up instructions to share here! It'll be like my little Christmas gift to you. ;)

OH! One more thing. :) Elsie over at Everyday Elsie (and A Beautiful Mess) is doing a 365 project in the new year where she's taking a picture of a spot in her home and posting it every day. Doesn't that sound like FUN?! I've done month long photo projects before but never anything for an entire year... I think I'm going to try! My home is my favorite place on Earth and I think it'll be fun to take pictures of little bits of it... especially to look back at in the future when we're perhaps living in a different house. Wanna play along and post pictures of your home too? You know you want to... :)

xo, Kara
