Saturday was the Cincinnati Modern Quilt Guild Shop Hop that I organized and we had SO much fun!

We started the day at Sewn Studio in Oakley.
They have such a diverse range of fabrics there and project inspirations everywhere you turn!
Julie, the owner of Sewn, even offered a 20% discount to all of us during the shop hop. She's the best! :)
After Sewn, we headed north to visit Lavender Street in Montgomery. Wouldn't you know, those sweet gals gave us a 20% discount too! :)
The staff there was so helpful and they had lots of pretty fabrics.

After playing at Lavender Street, we journeyed north to Waynesville, Ohio! On our way to lunch at The Hammel House, we stopped by a street festival on their main strip. We shopped, bought kettle corn and planked.
Lunch was SO yummy!!! The special was a po boy BLT with FRIED GREEN TOMATOS. Seriously.
Our final stop of the day was to Mecca- Fabric Shack! Fabric Shack has just about every type of fabric you would ever want, all under one roof. Denyse Schmidt? Check. Aneela Hoey? Check. Batiks? Check. Cats eating chicken wings? Check. It's fantastic.

We all had so much fun together at the shop hop that we're planning a return to Waynesville in the fall for one of The Hammel House's haunted dinners and walking tours- FUN! :)

It was such a great time! I enjoyed getting to know having the time to get to know everyone a little better!
